Sardinhas de Lisboa is the traditional contest that the Lisbon City Council proposes every year to Portuguese citizens and those from around the world. The premise is to choose the best sardines to decorate the city during the festivities in honor of Santos Populares, which take place in June. In 2017, among 5158 sardines proposed to the competition, my proposal was chosen as one of the best 130, which were on display in Baixa-Chiado.
